Well, technically, it was a trip to register my daughter at the university. But staying at the farm was the best part! The university is much bigger than I expected and we spent the ENTIRE day there standing in lines on concrete floors. My back needed help after that. It was so quiet and peaceful at the farm with no tv, no phone ringing, no body talking or barking. I just love that kind of peace. It was an absolutely perfect stay.
These first four photos are of the cabin we stayed in. It was so cozy and cute!
These three photos are the view from the porch of the cabin we stayed in. The camera didn't really capture the full glory of the sunrise. It was much more colorful in person.
I just loved this wreath on the chicken coop.
One rooster and a hen came out to greet us.
Alee and Nora. Aren't they just the sweetest mom and daughter?
Directions at the farm.
A mailbox down the road that I just HAD to get a picture of. It's so darn cute.
An abandoned house on the Nez Perce Reservation.
I love old barns and this one was just cool.
